VoodooPad has two types of searching. The first type is "In Page Searching", where you can search just the contents of the current page. Command-F will bring up this search window, where you can type in the word or phrase you are looking for. You may also choose to to replace the word you are searching for in this window.

Multi-Page, Multi-Document Searching.
(Not available in VoodooPad Lite)
The second type of searching lets VoodooPad search through multiple pages, and across multiple documents at the same time. Simply choose "Find in Document" from the Edit->Find menu, or use Command-Shift-F (Command-F in 10.2.8) to bring up the Find window as pictured below:
